This central space quietly divides the living and sleeping areas, offering a moment of calm and connection as light and shadow move through the day. Views of the surrounding escarpments are carefully framed, creating a backdrop that brings the outdoors into every room.

Material choices speak to longevity and ease, with durable low-maintenance finishes that will weather and patina gracefully. The use of repurposed hardwood studs from the original cottage that once stood on the site creates a quiet dialogue between past and present, weaving the memory of the place into the new fabric of the home.
